Javier Zapata

Javier is the Executive Director of the PathStone Enterprise Center, bringing over 20 years of experience in the field of community economic development. He is a National Development Council certified Economic Development Finance Professional and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus. In addition to his role at PathStone, Javier was selected as a LISC Rubinger Community Fellow in 2018, and he serves on various community and government boards, including the Board of Directors for the NY State Job Development Authority (JDA) and NBT Bank's Social Impact Advisory Board, where he continues to contribute to economic development initiatives that empower underserved communities and foster growth.
